Panera Bread is overhauling its menu

(CNN) – Panera Bread is going back to its bread and butter.
The restaurant is overhauling its menu to refocus on sandwiches and salads as it reportedly plans to become a publicly traded stock again.
Starting April 4, some menu items will be deleted, like flatbreads.
New ones will take their place, including the Ciabatta Cheesesteak and the Ranch Cobb salad.
Panera is also enhancing 12 existing popular menu items.
In recent years, the company expanded its menu to appeal to dinner customers.
