Over $50K in funding awarded to nonprofits serving Allen County

SCOTTSVILLE, Ky. – Twelve nonprofits serving Allen County have been awarded grant money to help their organizations serve the community, with a total of over $50,000 in funding.

According to the Core of Scottsville, the money is heading to Kentucky Kids on the Block, the Allen County 4-H program, Arts of Southern Kentucky, United Way of Southern Kentucky and many more.

Every program awarded funds benefits the community by maintaining a safe space for children, history and the arts.
