Operation Pride tree voucher application is live

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Nonprofit organization Operation Pride is continuing with their work to re-beautify the Warren County area.

Operation Pride recently posted their application to receive a voucher valued at $200 for new trees. Speaking with the founder of the organization, Johnny Webb told News 40 a few things. Firstly, it’s one per household. The application also asks what neighborhood you reside in. Webb said they want to make sure the trees are going to those who need them in their area.

According to Webb, over 4,000 trees were lost in the tornadoes of 2021 with some being older than most of us. The application can be found on Operation Pride’s Facebook page along with other information regarding tree planting events and giveaways. The application is only eligible for Warren county residents in neighborhoods known to be affected by the tornadoes.
