Operation Pride accepts donation from Realtors Association of Southern Kentucky
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – At the Realtor’s Association of Southern Kentucky’s monthly meeting, the organization donated some funds to a cause they support wholeheartedly, Operation Pride.
Operation Pride is a Bowling Green non-profit that simply looks to make those who call Bowling Green home, proud and pumped up about their community. The organization’s beautification efforts for Warren County have not gone unnoticed, probably because they can’t. The size of Operation Pride’s projects are nothing to sneeze at with the welcome gates on all exits from I-65 to Bowling Green, now they’re looking to do something on a smaller scale for the western side of town.
Johnny Webb, Founder and Chairman of the organization spoke briefly at RASK, saying in part he hopes their work has helped out realtors in recent years with tempting Americans to relocate.
Webb told News 40 in an interview that the next project at the corner of Kentucky Street and 6th Ave will be a pleasant sight once they’ve finished around November. Webb encouraged the community as well to get out and take some stake in the project by coming to the public forum on Thursday, September 5 at Mount Zion Baptist Church with doors opening at 5:30 p.m.
