Online retailer Pink Lily to expand in Bowling Green

BOWLING GREEN, Ky.- The national lifestyle brand, Pink Lily, is expanding its operations in Bowling Green, leasing an additional 160,000 square feet of warehousing to grow its fulfillment center.

Their fulfillment center is located in the South Central Kentucky Industrial Park. This expansion will support the rapid growth in online shopping and increasing global demand for their boutique clothing and accessories.

Owners Tori and Chris Gerbig initially started their business as a Facebook group selling limited quantities of women’s clothing and accessories. They had so much interest and growth that they launched in 2014 with a projected $50,000 in annual sales. They sold $4.1 million in their first full year of operations and grew by 300% in year two.

Ron Bunch, President and CEO of the Bowling Green Area Chamber of Commerce says they are a great asset to the community.

“They’re young entrepreneurs as well, so we have a young family here that started up here, continues to grow here and they’re also committed to other causes in the community, supporting the community. So again we’re very thankful for them,” said Bunch.

They currently have over 200 employees and have a flagship store on Scottsville Road in Bowling Green.
