One man shot, another stabbed after fight on Rock Creek Drive
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Bowling Green police are investigating an early morning shooting and stabbing on Rock Creek Drive Wednesday.
Wednesday morning officers responded to 2056 Rock Creek Drive, Apartment 3 for an unknown trouble call.
While police were on the scene at Rock Creek Drive, they placed evidence markers on top of a car and placed some in the parking lot as well.
A few minutes later, police received about call of a shooting in the driveway of 121 W. 13th Street.
On Rock Creek Drive, officers located Henry Escobar, 23, of Bowling Green, who had a stab wound, according to a release from the department. On W. 13th Street, officers found Luis Torres, 23, of Bowling Green, who had sustained a gunshot wound.
At the W. 13th Street scene, police used their flashlights in the predawn hours, to look inside of a vehicle before having it towed from the scene. Police also went in and out of a home on W. 13th Street.
Both men were taken for medical treatment, and their conditions have not been reported to police, according to the release.
Detectives determined both men received their injuries during an argument in the apartment on Rock Creek Drive, according to the release.
Criminal charges are expected but have not been made as of 12 p.m. Wednesday.
