Ohio County man charged with illegal firearm possession after alleged shots-fired incident

FORDSVILLE, Ky. – An Ohio County man is charged with illegal firearm possession after an alleged shots-fired incident.

According to the Ohio County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to a disturbance on Ridge Road in Fordsville on Friday.

Reports indicated that several subjects were in the roadway and a firearm was allegedly discharged.

OCSO says deputies obtained a search warrant for a residence on Ridge Road and located and arrested 33-year-old Dakota T. Brown of Fordsville.

Brown was lodged at the Ohio County Detention Center on charges of possession of a handgun by a convicted felon and tampering with physical evidence.

The investigation is ongoing.
