LEXINGTON, Ky. – It’s the end of an era for the University of Kentucky Men’s Basketball program.

On Tuesday, head coach John Calipari made it official – his departure is imminent.

Posting on X/Twitter, Calipari states that it is time for a change at the University of Kentucky and his family.

Calipari says, “We’ve loved it here. But we think it’s time for us to step away. And step away completely from the program.”

Calipari goes on to say that there are other opportunities available for his family.

According to reports, Calipari is close to signing a contract to become the head coach of the Arkansas Razorbacks.
