North Metcalfe Volunteer Fire and Rescue gets equipment upgrades

METCALFE COUNTY, Ky. – The North Metcalfe Volunteer Fire and Rescue Squad is saying thank you this week as they’re seeing upgrades to their department.

Thanks to two local firefighters, the department will maintain two light towers that they utilized on nighttime scenes for fires, long duration car accidents, hazmat and search and rescue situations.

You may also see them set up during fundraisers to light parking areas for the community.
