New Magistrate on Warren County Fiscal Court officially sworn in

BOWLING GREEN, Ky.-At Friday’s swearing in ceremony for elected officials in Warren County, the county’s Fiscal Court welcomed a new face.

Ron Cummings, a broker for Century 21, was given the official oath of office.

Cummings will represent District 6 on the Fiscal Court and replaces Darrell Traughber.

Cummings tells WNKY that getting high speed internet to rural areas of Warren County is his top priority, but is also looking forward to addressing a number of other pressing issues.

“We live in a blessed area, but we’re only as good as out weakest citizens. We need to have attention to issues that affect those who are homeless and less fortunate,” said Cummings. “Workforce development and education are issues that will be at the forefront of my mind as we continue to work.”

Cummings will participate in his first Fiscal Court meeting later this month.
