New event space soon opens in Horse Cave

HORSE CAVE, Ky. – In the downtown area, a historical building is being renovated in hopes of making a special place for the community.

Sarah McDowell, who owns The Venue at Horse Cave, said she would hope to host all kinds of events in the new building, such as weddings and birthdays, as well as her own events for the community in the coming weeks.

McDowell said she wants to make the old building she’s always loved somewhere the whole community can enjoy.

She says the business should be open in early March.
