National magazine recognizes Cave City Tourism executive director

CAVE CITY, Ky. – A national magazine is recognizing a South Central Kentucky tourism official.
According to a release, Jennifer McNett, executive director of the Cave Area Conference Center and executive director of Cave City Tourism, is profiled in the latest edition of Millennium Magazine. She is also featured on the cover.
Millennium Magazine, a Marquis Who’s Who magazine, is an interactive publication that honors the legacies of professionals from around the world.
“I am honored and humbled at the opportunity to be featured in Millennium Magazine and be able to share my experiences with Cave City Tourism. The chance to be on the cover is indescribable and great exposure for our town,” said McNett.
McNett works closely with attractions and business owners to create opportunities to attract travelers to the Cave City area, according to the release.
McNett serves several organizations, including the executive board of the Caveland Marketing Association and holds memberships with the Kentucky Travel Industry Association, the Kentucky Association of Convention and Visitors Bureaus, and the Cave City Chamber of Commerce.
She also serves as vice president of the Southern Kentucky Film Commission. She played a pivotal role in transforming a neglected attraction into a movie set for the film “Gunslingers” starring Academy Award winner Nicholas Cage, according to the release.
