Narcan training in Scottsville

SCOTTSVILLE, Ky. – In partnership with JourneyPure of Bowling Green and the Scottsville Allen County Faith Coalition, the Victory Hill Dream Center is holding a narcan training seminar for the public.

The seminar will take place at 10 a.m. in the Washington Center of Scottsville on March 16th where the event should wrap up in about 30 minutes. At the seminar, individuals will be trained on how to use narcan as well as learn some CRP tips and how to recognize signs of overdose.

Amy Payne, who runs the Victory Hill Dream Center along with her husband Larry, said there will be healthcare professionals there to answer any questions as well as a resources to offer information on how to help those that may be experiencing opioid use disorder.

Upon concluding the seminar, everyone will receive a free box of narcan.
