Name released of victim in fatal crash on Louisville Road

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The identity has been released of a person who died Friday evening in a crash on Louisville Road.
Bowling Green police say they responded for a multi-vehicle collision near the 3000 block of Louisville Road.
Police say a white SUV driven by Michael Anderson of Bowling Green struck multiple cars, including a passenger car driven by Lucille Lucas, 68, of Big Clifty, Kentucky.
The white SUV reportedly passed a vehicle before reentering the right lane and colliding with the first vehicle driven by Madison Rather of Bowling Green. Police say the SUV then left the road on the left side and hit a light pole before going airborne and crashing into Lucas’s car.
Lucas was killed on impact, according to police.
Police say the passenger in Lucas’s car and the front passenger in the SUV sustained minor injuries. An infant in the back seat of the SUV was not injured, officials say.
Police say Rather was not injured.
Anderson was flown to a Nashville trauma center.
