Multiple wrecks reported in Simpson County

SIMPSON COUNTY, Ky. – Multiple vehicle wrecks have been reported in Simpson County Sunday morning as winter conditions sweep through south-central Kentucky.

Simpson County judge-executive Mason Barnes shared a statement to Facebook this morning asking residents to avoid driving unless it is an emergency.

Shortly before 9 a.m., Barnes stated law enforcement was working multiple wrecks in the area.

Local law enforcement agencies have also encouraged drivers to avoid getting behind the wheel unless it is necessary to go out on the roads.
