Multiple fire departments respond to two structure fires in Warren County

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The Warren County Fire Department System responded to two fires on Monday.

According to a release, Alvaton and Plano Fire Departments received a dispatch to a home at 285 Lakeside Way in the Rivergreen subdivision to a reported fire alarm.

When units arrived, firefighters located an active fire in the attic that spread to the roof.

Firefighters contained the fire. The extent of damage to the home has not been released.

The Alvaton Fire Department says that while units were at the scene on Lakeside Way, a second dispatch was received to a reported structure fire at 395 Kirby Poe Road.

AFD says when units arrived, they located an electrical box on fire that extended to the home.

Firefighters extinguished the fire. The extent of damage to the home has not been released.

Browning Fire Department, Gott Fire Department, Plano Fire Department, Richardsville Fire Department and the Warren County Fire Department System assisted the Alvaton Fire Department.

The fires remain under investigation.
