Multiple crews respond to house fire on Old Richardsville Road

WARREN COUNTY, Ky. – Multiple agencies were at the scene of a house fire on Old Richardsville Road early Wednesday morning.

The Richardsville Fire Department says it responded at 6:17 a.m. before requesting additional aid. As firefighters worked to extinguish the fire, more units responded for assistance.

With no close fire hydrants, the Barren River Fire Department set up a water supply nearby while crews worked until the fire was under control, fire officials say.

Firefighters say they remained on the scene until they were sure all hot spots were out.

Additional units that responded included the Bowling Green Fire Department, Browning Fire Department, Gott Fire Department and Medical Center EMS.
