UPDATE: Multiple agencies respond to reported water rescue, no one injured, sheriff says

WARREN COUNTY, Ky. – First responders were at the scene of a reported water rescue Monday off of the 1200 block of Goodrum Road near Middle Fork Drakes Creek in Warren County.

Scanner traffic stated a kayak was reported as overturned. Multiple agencies responded and searched the area.

Warren County sheriff Brett Hightower confirmed authorities were told the kayak was swept away from someone, and it has since been returned to those individuals.

Hightower says no one was found in the water with the kayak.
