USOA Mrs. Kentucky gears up for United States of America competition

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – USOA Mrs. Kentucky is gearing up for the Mrs. United States of America competition.

The Barren County native has had a long journey of overcoming many obstacles to motivate and inspire young girls to show up as themselves and truly love themselves.

News 40 sat down with the queen before she headed off to the Mrs. United States of America competition and learned one of her biggest takeaways.

United States of America’s Mrs. Kentucky Erica Hildreth tells us, “Embracing who you are and being happy with that. And that’s probably my biggest takeaway from pageantry in general, is just to have like the real thing, to have the authentic, you know, love for yourself truly allows you to love others the way that I think we were meant to.”
