Motorcyclist killed in Butler County crash

MORGANTOWN, Ky. – A motorcyclist is dead after a crash in Butler County.

Kentucky State Police Post 3 responded to a possible fatal collision on Monday evening at around 9 pm. The collision occurred on Russellville Road.

KSP says a red Jeep Wrangler, operated by Johnathon Williams, 37 of Morgantown, was traveling southbound on Russellville Road. Williams attempted to make a left turn on to Eric Young Road. The vehicle was struck by a black Harley Davidson operated by Lincoln Schweizer, 49, of Morgatown.

The Butler County Coroner’s Office pronounced Schweizer dead at the scene.

KSP was assisted at the scene by the Butler County Sheriff’s Office, Butler County EMS, Butler County Coroner’s Office and other KSP personnel.
