Moore ties season-high in return, WKU wins rivalry matchup over MTSU

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Valentines Day was wrapped up in lovely fashion for Hilltopper fans, as the men’s basketball team defeated MTSU 82-80 in a thrilling contest.

The Tops sweep the season series over the Blue Raiders, improving their ‘100 Miles of Hate’ all-time rivalry series lead to 102-49.

Teagan Moore returned to the court after missing the prior five games, and the guard led the matchup in scoring, tying his season-best at 28 points.

His most important contributions came late down the stretch, driving through contact and getting to the free throw line often.

Moore would shoot 13-15 from the charity stripe, including two made shots in the closing seconds, and WKU would hold on to pick up its second-straight win.
