Missing Missouri student’s bank card found near river

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – A bank card belonging to missing University of Missouri student Riley Strain has been located near a river in Tennessee.
The card was discovered Sunday afternoon on an embankment by the Cumberland River by two women.
They heard about the search for Strain on social media and realized one of them lived nearby.
The two women climbed down the riverbank and were sorting through trash when they found a bank card with the name Riley Strain on the back.
On March 8, Strain was visiting Nashville when he went missing after being kicked out of a bar on Gay Street in the city’s Broadway area. He and his Delta brothers were originally in the area for a formal.
Metropolitan Nashville police have since released a brief exchange with an officer on Gay Street that night. Authorities say the officer was working a vehicle burglary call for 45 minutes.
Police say no video has been discovered that shows Riley away from that street after 9:52 p.m.
Investigators have not said what the bank card meant for their search.
