Metcalfe County ‘Helping Hornet’ students help clean up community

METCALFE COUNTY, Ky. – Metcalfe County’s Helping Hornets headed out Friday to help clean up around the local community.

According to Metcalfe County Schools, students picked up trash along Highway 68 and helped with painting and landscaping at the Metcalfe County Lake and Park.

The district says some of the Helping Hornets also made blankets for their kindergarten students for the Wrap Up and Read program.
