Metcalfe County Emergency Management supplying free weather radios to residents

METCALFE COUNTY, Ky. – Metcalfe County residents can be prepared for any potential severe weather at no cost.

Weather radios help provide information on weather events when needed, such as when a cell phone may lose power.

Metcalfe County Emergency Management is providing free weather radios to those who live within the county for free, according to a social media post by the Metcalfe County Soil Conservation District.

In addition, those living in outside areas can also purchase a weather radio from retailers.

Metcalfe County residents may pick up their free radio at the judge executive office located in the Government Center at 201 North Main St. in Edmonton, Kentucky.
