Metcalfe Co. High School gathering hurricane relief donations

EDMONTON, Ky. – A local high school is working to gather the essentials for those impacted by Hurricane Helene.

Metcalfe County High School says it is gathering supplies for residents of North Carolina.

Items needed include non-perishable foods, sleeping bags, blankets, clothing, shoes, children and adult cold medicine, cleaning supplies, laundry detergent batteries, lighters, heaters and more.

The school says it will be collecting donations until Nov. 26.

Donations can be dropped off in the Metcalfe County High School front office.
