Memorial Day service in Glasgow
GLASGOW, Ky. – At the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery, dozens of community members gathered to honor those who didn’t make it home.
During the service, the community band played the songs of each branch of the military and gave out some awards to some veterans in attendance all while guest speakers spoke meaningful words about those “who pay the ultimate price” for their country.
Matt Mutter, with the Barren County Veteran’s Association said it’s an event that the community looks forward to every year and that Barren County is a community full of proud veterans.
