Mary Jane’s Chocolates closing weekend

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Saturday, April 19th will be the last time Mary Jane’s Chocolates opens its doors to the public.

After 15 years of operation and serving all kinds of customers from all over, the career chocolatiers are hanging up their smocks, for now. Gary Meszaros, co-owner of Mary Jane’s, said he and his wife Mary Jane Meszaros have had a great time and are thankful to everyone who has ever patronized their establishment.

Gary said he and his wife will be packing up the store after their last shift on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and will potentially sell their equipment to an aspiring artisan if interested.

Mr. Meszaros also said it’s just a thought, but they could continue wholesale chocolate from their in-home commercial kitchen in the future.
