Man charged with DUI after crashing into roundabout divider in Leitchfield

LEITCHFIELD, Ky. – A Cave City man is charged with driving under the influence after crashing into a concrete roundabout divider.
According to WNKY News 40 media partner K105, the roundabout is located in Leitchfield at the intersection of Elizabethtown Road and the William Thomason Byway.

K105 reports Leitchfield police responded to the wreck Friday night around 11:15 p.m.
Upon arrival, police located a Chevrolet Malibu that had struck the concrete divider on Elizabethtown Road. While trying to leave, the vehicle became stuck.
The driver was identified as 40-year-old Darrel D. Sturgeon of Cave City.
Sturgeon was arrested and charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence. He was transported to the Grayson County Detention Center.
