Man charged after high-speed vehicle pursuit and foot chase in Barren County

GLASGOW, Ky. – A man is in custody after a high-speed chase in Barren County.
According to a uniform citation, Jessie Lothery, 32, was driving recklessly and hitting speeds of over 100 miles per hour.
Lothery crashed his motorcycle near train tracks in Park City during the pursuit and continued to flee on foot, authorities say.
After a lengthy foot pursuit, the officer apprehended Lothery, according to the citation.
Lothery is charged with speeding over 26 mph over the speed limit, reckless driving and fleeing and evading police in a vehicle and on foot.
According to the citation, the motorcycle registration and insurance were not up to date, and Lothery did not have a valid license.
