Man arrested on drug-related offenses in Allen County

SCOTTSVILLE, Ky. – A Tennessee man has been arrested on drug charges in Allen County.

On Monday, the Allen County Sheriff’s Office says it stopped a 2005 GMC vehicle driven by Don Paul Stovall, 51 of Troy, Tennessee for a traffic offense.

Deputies say after a K-9 officer conducted an open-air sniff test, a positive alert was given on the vehicle.

Deputies say they located 9.2 grams of suspected methamphetamine and other drug paraphernalia.

Stovall was transported to the Allen Count Detention Center and faces charges of first-degree possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) and possession of drug paraphernalia.
