Man arrested following traffic stop in Allen County

SCOTTSVILLE, Ky. – A man is facing several charges after a traffic stop Tuesday in Allen County.

Around 4:50 p.m., deputies say they stopped a vehicle on North Fourth Street. During this time, the Allen County Sheriff’s Office says a K-9 gave a positive alert outside of the vehicle.

Deputies say they found a black magnetic box with multiple clear plastic bags of methamphetamine as a result of a search.

The driver, identified as William Graves, 27, was taken into custody and transported to the Allen County Detention Center.

He faces charges of first-degree possession of a controlled substance, first offense (methamphetamine), failure of non-owner operator to maintain required insurance, first offense, and no registration plates.
