Man arrested after robbery in Bowling Green

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The Bowling Green Police Department has arrested a man in connection with a robbery at a Dollar General.

Yesterday, officials responded to the location on Three Springs Road in reference to a robbery. BGPD says they received a tip soon after, which led to the residence of Thomas Lamb.

Officials say Lamb matched the description of the suspect, and officers found a camouflage jacket and a weapon.

BGPD also stated in a report that video surveillance provided further details. Officials stated the video showed a man entering the store at 6:34 p.m. before approaching the register. A witness stated in the report the man stated, “Hit cash and give me everything in the drawer” then showed he possessed a gun.

BGPD further stated the man fled the store at 6:37 p.m. after obtaining the money.

Lamb was arrested and is in the Warren County Detention Center, where he faces a charge of first-degree robbery.
