Louisville Orchestra is coming to The SKyPAC
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The Grammy award-winning Louisville Orchestra will be performing for free at the Southern Kentucky Performing Arts Center right here in Bowling Green.
The Louisville orchestra includes the soloist Yuja Wang, Teddy Abrams and members of the Orchestra of Kentucky. This monumental win is not only a win for the orchestra, it’s a win for the entire commonwealth and an opportunity for people to come and enjoy the show.
Mackenzie Belcher, the marketing Assistant for Arts of Southern Kentucky, shares the value of the big win for the orchestra.
She says, “It is special. I mean, they have like their talent, you know, here, and of course, we’re the home of Orchestra Kentucky, so we love orchestras around here. So it’s cool to kind of bring two communities together and make something for our community as a whole.”
You can see the Louisville Orchestra in Bowling Green on March 5, and they will continue on tour throughout February and March.
