Logan County man indicted on drug trafficking, firearm charges

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – A Logan County man was indicted on March 13 on drug trafficking and gun charges.

Joshua O. Duncan, 39, is formally charged with methamphetamine and fentanyl trafficking, possessing a firearm in furtherance of drug trafficking and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, according to the United State’s Attorney’s Office, Western District of Kentucky.

Officials say the indictment states Duncan possessed and intended to distribute at least 500 grams of methamphetamine and at least 400 grams of fentanyl mixture in February. Duncan also possessed a revolver in furtherance of drug trafficking and a pistol despite being a convicted felon.

Duncan was previously convicted of felonies involving trafficking cocaine and methamphetamine in earlier years.

If convicted, Duncan faces a minimum sentence of 15 years in prison and a maximum sentence of life in prison.
