LOGAN COUNTY, Ky. – Logan County Animal Care and Control is sharing the love with the local community.

The shelter announced Friday it has launched its new dog food pantry for Logan County residents in need.

According to a social media post by staff, the pantry will operate Monday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Residents will be required to show a valid ID or a piece of mail to confirm a Logan County address.

The shelter says there will be limits on the quantity and frequency of dog food distribution per household. Any misuse of the pantry will result in loss of access to this service, the shelter says. The shelter thanks Champion Petfoods for its partnership to make this possible.
