Locals weigh in on Biden’s Inauguration

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Bowling Green residents shared their thoughts on what they expect to see during Wednesday’s Inauguration.

The inauguration events will be heavily guarded, even though the event is ‘virtual’, and some officials say there will  be more american flags at the event than people. But, there will be security officers still standing by just in case. One upside, since the inauguration events will be virtual, that means even those in South Central Kentucky can log online and be a part of the celebration.

Local attorney, Dan Rudloff, says he will be watching the inauguration online and then take a virtual tour of Washington D.C.

“The tour guides aren’t doing a lot of tours, but they are going to do it virtually, so i’m going to check that out after the inauguration. It should be fun” Dan said.

After the inauguration celebration, many hope that America will be less divided.

“I feel like we just need to get on with business in the country” said local resident, Alex Turner. “We all need to work together, we are all on this Earth for one purpose and there is no need for hate or violence. We just need to come together”.
