Local pharmacy kicks off grand opening following tornado repairs
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – A local pharmacy celebrated today after recovering from tornado damage.
Recently, the six month anniversary passed since the tornado affected Bowling Green. One of the businesses affected by it, Springhill Health Mart Pharmacy, had their grand opening this morning.
The business celebrated within their newly renovated building with giveaways and and a food truck.
The owner, Stacy Lamb, described how the hardest part of getting the business “a face lift” after being hit by the tornado was getting the phone, electricity and internet systems started back up, besides replacing the ceiling and flooring.
Lamb said the pharmacy will offer several services for the community.
“ A few things that we offer the community is free delivery service for patients, we do compliance packaging from the robot that’s behind me. That is very convenient and helps people remember to take their medicine on time at the right time,” said Lamb.
The pharmacy’s newly repaired building will be open at 2305 Russellville Road.
