News 40 Weather | No Blarney, It's Going To Warm Up!

WINTER TO MAKE AN EXIT
After dealing with bitterly cold winds and occasional snow showers, our weather will begin to shake off the winter blues in the coming days. We will see a mix of clouds and sunshine today, but it will remain cold with a brisk westerly breeze today and a high of only 38. There’s still a chance that a snow flurry could fly by, especially to our north. Another weak disturbance will pass by tonight and bring with it more light snow flurries, but as a more southerly wind takes over Wednesday morning, we may be warm enough for a rain shower instead. Otherwise, we will see a partly sunny and warmer day Wednesday with a high around 50. We will be much warmer Thursday and into the weekend as highs will climb into the 60’s and 70’s each day. As an added bonus…Spring officially arrives at 9:46am CDT Friday!
