Leitchfield police searching for suspect in stolen vehicle investigation

LEITCHFIELD, Ky. – A suspect in a stolen vehicle investigation remains at large.

The Leitchfield Police Department says it conducted a search warrant at 502 Salt River Road on Tuesday. The search warrant was for a truck that was stolen on January 18 and later located on January 19.

Officers say David Clark, 48 of Leitchfield, is a suspect in the investigation.

LPD says multiple videos and evidence were recovered from the abandoned vehicle. During the search of Clark’s residence, police say further evidence linking Clark to the crime was discovered.

The department says Clark will face charges as a result of the investigation.

Police believe Clark fled the area.
