Leitchfield man sentenced to 18 years in assault case

NELSON COUNTY, Ky. – A Leitchfield man faces 18 years in prison in an assault case.

According to a social media post by the Nelson County Sheriff’s Office, Elten Pierre Frillman was sentenced following convictions for second-degree assault, second-degree unlawful imprisonment and first-degree persistent felony offender.

Authorities say the charges originate from a domestic assault in 2025.

The investigation was led by the Nelson County Sheriff’s Office.

“These violent individuals do not belong in our community,” said Detective Kirkpatrick following the verdict.
