Legacy Christian Academy honors 2025 KCAA Mr. Basketball Cole Phillips with banner
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – During Legacy Christian Academy’s doubleheader against the Evansville Racers, a familiar face returned to campus.
2025 KCAA Mr. Basketball Cole Phillips was honored with a banner that will hang in the gym.
Phillips had a standout season in 2025, with 29 points, 6.2 rebounds, 5.3 assists and 4.9 steals per game.
After the ceremony, Phillips shared how important this honor and being immortalized at LCA means to him.
“It’s surreal. It truly is an amazing experience.” Phillips said. “And you got to see all the hard work and all the late nights and, you know, all the stuff you put into it to, like, come to real life and come to one moment, man. It’s just it’s really is amazing.”
