Large explosion heard in Louisville, hazardous materials reportedly involved

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WLKY) – A loud boom heard throughout Louisville Tuesday afternoon was from a large explosion in the Clifton neighborhood, sources say.
WLKY reports the explosion happened at the Givaudan Sense Colour plant in the 1900 block of Payne Street.
Sources tell WLKY people are “missing and trapped inside.”
Louisville Fire officials said at least two people have been taken to hospitals.
They are asking people in a two-block radius to evacuate and those in a one-mile radius to shelter in place. WLKY reports there are hazardous materials involved.
