KY 101 railroad crossing set for temporary closure

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – A Smiths Grove railroad crossing it set for a temporary closure.

Kentucky Transportation Cabinet District 3 says the railroad crossing at KY 101 in downtown Smiths Grove will temporarily close beginning on December 2. CSX will be working on the maintenance of the railroad.

Officials say the closure is expected to last for 48 hours. The closure time is dependent on weather conditions.

Motorists are asked to seek alternate routes.
