UPDATE: Suspect, victims identified in Lexington church shooting

UPDATE: The Fayette County Coroner’s Office identified the suspect as Guy E.  House, 47.

The two female victims are Beverly Gumm, 72, and Christina Combs, 34.

LEXINGTON, Ky. – A suspect is dead and multiple victims are reported at a Lexington church following a shooting Sunday morning.

The Kentucky State Police says a suspect shot a KSP trooper before fleeing the scene.

Authorities say the suspect, whose identity has not been released, ended up at Richmond Road Baptist Church, where KSP and Lexington Police secured the suspect.

Troopers say there are multiple victims at the church, and the trooper is receiving medical attention. EMS is on scene at the church providing care.
