KSP issues Golden Alert, finds man deceased

PIKEVILLE, Ky. – Kentucky State Police Pikeville Post issues a Golden Alert on Saturday.

KSP said Phil Colley, 65 of McDowell, was last seen in the Ned’s Fork area of Frasure’s Creek on January 2.

After an investigation, troopers located Colley deceased near a utility access road in Buckhorn on January 4.

The Floyd County Coroner’s Office pronounced Colley dead at the scene.

The cause of Colley’s death is under investigation.

KSP says the Medical Examiner’s Office in Frankfort will perform an autopsy.
