KSP investigating possible triple murder-suicide in Breathitt County

JACKSON, Ky. – Four people are dead in Breathitt County after what authorities say is a possible triple murder-suicide.

The Kentucky State Police says it received a 911 call Friday morning around 10:37 a.m. after an unresponsive female was located in a residence on KY-3193 in the Jackson community.

Troopers, along with detectives, responded to the scene. Authorities say they located four people dead from gunshot wounds. According to KSP, homeowner Ashley Little, 34, of Jackson shot three people.

These included Chloe Little, 15, of Jackson, Luther Combs, 58, of Jackson and Missouri Gross, 78, of Jackson, authorities say.

Following the initial shooting, authorities say Ashley Little fatally shot herself.

The Breathitt County Coroner’s Office pronounced the victims dead.

All four individuals have been sent to the state medical examiner’s office pending autopsy. This incident remains under investigation.
