KSP: 1 dead after two-vehicle collision in Russellville

RUSSELLVILLE, Ky. – One person has died after a collision Thursday on U.S. 68 Bypass at Highland Lick Road.
According to a release by the Kentucky State Police, troopers responded shortly after 7 a.m. to Russellville, Kentucky for a fatal collision.
Troopers say they determined a yellow box truck was traveling north through the intersection of U.S. 68 Bypass and Highland Lick Road when it struck a red Nissan pickup truck that was traveling west through that intersection.
The Nissan’s operator, Rodger Wright, 64, of Russellville, was pronounced dead at the scene by the Logan County Coroner.
The driver of the box truck was transported to Logan Memorial Hospital for treatment.
The investigation is ongoing.
