Judge executives issue state of emergency for local counties

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Judge executives for both Warren and Simpson counties have issued a state of emergency.
Warren County judge-executive Doug Gorman says this is due to trees and powerlines on homes, blocked roads, accidents with entrapment, gas leaks and structure fires.
Simpson County judge-executive Mason Barnes says Simpson County has also faced trees down and power outages.
Warren County Emergency Managements is advising the public to stay home to allow utility and emergency crews to clear roads and respond to service calls.
