Josie Gilvin commits to Kentucky women’s basketball

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Just under two weeks after entering the NCAA Transfer Portal, Lady Hilltopper guard Josie Gilvin will be going from one bluegrass university to another, committing to play under head coach Kenny Brooks as a Kentucky Wildcat for the 2025-2026 season.

The Cats had their first 20+ win season this year since the 2019-2020 season, picking up five AP top 25 ranked wins during the regular season and making a trip to the NCAA Tournament.

Gilvin was a pivotal player for the Lady Tops this season, leading the team in either points or rebounds in 18 games on the year.
