GLASGOW, Ky. – James “Jamie” Moss II has been appointed by the Cooperative’s Board of Directors, in compliance with the Bylaws, to fulfill the unexpired term of former Farmers RECC District 3 director Ronnie Smith, who retired in December 2025.

According to Farmers RECC, Moss is a graduate of Western Kentucky University, achieving his Rank One in 2002. Moss has spent 30 years in the Education field, beginning his career at Caverna Independent Schools before moving to Adair County and eventually settling back at home with the Metcalfe County School District, where Farmers RECC says he is currently director of special education.

“We are happy to have Mr. Moss join our team and represent the members of District 3,” said Randy London, chairman of the Board of Directors for Farmers RECC.

Moss and his wife, Kathy reside in Edmonton. They have three children. When he isn’t teaching, Moss enjoys training retrievers, raising cattle, riding horses and spending time with his granddaughter.
